League 2 timelines, 12-13 Oct 2018

Here are the individual timeline graphics for the latest round of matches, using my revised template for the new season. There’s a full explanation of these here for anyone who’s not seen them before.

The most interesting results were MK Dons’ win at Cambridge, where the hosts did enough to get something out of the game overall but seem to have been restricted to poor quality chances. At Crewe, Bury created the lion’s share of the chances but had to settle for a draw, with the second half being pretty much one-way traffic after their equaliser spurred them on. Lincoln’s hammering of Port Vale looked pretty comprehensive – around half of Vale’s expected goals total came from their late penalty.
