Expected goals table: Premier League, 30 Nov – 1 Dec 2019

These alternative league tables are calculated using expected goals (as seen in my match timelines). There’s a full explanation in the first post here.

This continues to make happy reading for fans of the two Manchester clubs, as the data puts Man City top of the table and Man Utd in the top four at Leicester’s expense. Southampton and Everton also look to have been underachieving, while the expected goals model only deems Newcastle to have been worth half of their current points total.
